Hello! My name is Christine and I’m currently studying Design Media Arts and Cognitive Science at UCLA.

I approach every decision with intention, especially in systems UI, where every component is a bet on the future: the UX patterns it cements, how it shapes a user's mental model. When I look at an interface, I like to speculate on what it's training the person behind it to expect. When I make calls, I weigh user needs against business goals and technical constraints, so the final decision is driven by data, not just conviction.

I've led the design of a client management system from concept to ship with a student team, and spent 6 months in UX research at Grand Studio synthesizing findings from live product testing into direction the client's team acted on.

Outside of design, I am

expanding my collection of running routes on Strava 🏃
reading books on science fiction and human psychology 📚
obsessively maintaining my Google Calendar 🗓️
